In the mood for a first rate Western? Eric Holmes and I review “Place of Bones,” a Western that is definitely worth checking out, on this week’s CinemAddicts podcast. Details on the film and our review are featured below.

Pandora (Heather Graham) playes a widow who is trying to raise her daughter Hester (Brielle Robillard) on a remote ranch. When a wounded outlaw named Calhoun (Corin Nemec) enters their lives, things go haywire. A ruthless gang led by Bear John (Tom Hopper) are on the hunt for Calhoun, leaving Pandora and Hester in the crossfire.

Directed by Audrey Cummings from Richard Taylor’s script, “Place of Bones” is a tightly wound Western that packs a knockout punch. Though the final moments of the feature are truly memorable, the rest of othe narrative is also top tier. Rated R and running 93 minutes, “Place of Bones” is a interesting take on the Western genre, and hopefully it will find an audience.
