The co-showrunners are Alex Kurtzman and Noga Landau. Star Trek: The Next Generation’s Jonathan Frakes directed the ninth episode (300th Night) of Star Trek: Starfleet Academy.
Special features include First Year (52:51), Mario Magic: Props (15:30), Gag Reel (4:24), and Deleted/Extended Scenes (one of them is Extended). The Mario Magic: Props, Gag Reel, and the Deleted/Extended Scenes are exclusive on Digital.
