Along with its deft and balanced handling of topical issues, American Crime explores the fabric of humanity from different locations. The third season, premiering tonight, takes place in Alamance County, North Carolina, as immigration, sex trafficking, and class struggles are all part of this eight-episode universe. During this year’s ABC TCA panel, the ensemble and creator John Ridley gave us a preview of this highly anticipated season.
The critically acclaimed and award winning American Crime is back for a third season, and during today’s Television Critics Association Press Tour Felicity Huffman said that this is her favorite role to date! Creator John Ridley also gave his thoughts on the upcoming season.
Since JoJo Fletcher had the temerity (or is it the decency?) to give Santa Claus (I refuse to call this bachelor by his real name!) a rose on the first episode of The Bachelorette, it’s safe to assume this season is bound to go sideways sooner than later. But who knew the insanity would start to boil as early as episode two?
I’ve seen several seasons of The Bachelor and The Bachelorette in sum, so I’m far from an expert on the reality series. My last time checking in on this universe hosted by Chris Harrison was during Ashley Hebert’s season, so my knowledge of JoJo Fletcher is marginal at best.
When we last left Quantico, it wasn’t looking too good for Simon. Realizing that his plans for a bombing were taken and implemented, he turns down Alex‘s offer to help her find the real culprit and was immediately chloroformed by Elias upon entering his house.
