I’m just waiting for the Dwayne Johnson “We’re Not Gonna Make It” gifs, but if you want a taste of what it looks like check out the very end of the latest Jumanji: The Next Level trailer. Johnson is driving away from a multitude of ostriches which leads the Jumanji crew off a cliff and the rest is history!

Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle grossed over $962 million worldwide, so it’s probably a foregone conclusion that Jumanji: The Next Level will also turn a sizable profit. Having not seen the previous version or the Robin Williams flick from 1995, I’ll probably see both of those movies within the next month to catch up on the franchise.
Jake Kasdan is back as the sequel’s director, and the talented ensemble (Dwayne Johnson, Jack Black, Kevin Hart, Karen Gillan, Alex Wolff, Ser’Darius Blain, Morgan Turner, Nick Jonas, Madison Iseman) welcome newbies Danny DeVito, Danny Glover, and Awkwafina.
The film should have a healthy share of laughs, but seeing Grandpa Eddie (Danny DeVito) morph into Dwayne Johnson (who hilariously asks “Are we in Florida?” in the trailer) should, in my uneducated opinion, steal the show.
Jumanji: The Next Level comes out December 13 via Sony. Tell us what you think of the trailer, and by the way, on Matt and Greg Used To Interview Movie Stars we spotlighted the original Jumanji, and it has a pretty memorable interview with Robin Williams.
Are you a fan of all of the Jumanji films? Am I missing out? Feel free to comment below!!
