Newt Scamander (Eddie Redmayne) helped MACUSA (Magical Congress of the United States ofAmerica) capture the Dark wizard Gellert Grindelwald (Johnny Depp) in the 2016 feature Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them. With Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald, he teams up with his former mentor Albus Dumbledore (Jude Law) to stop Grindelwald (who has escaped custody), who is focused on raising pure-blood wizard to conquer humanity. The feature made $647 million worldwide (based on an estimated $200 million budget).
