Singing since she was nine and moving from Texas to Nashville at the age of 16, Morgan Frazier has garnered a healthy share of experience in the music industry. Originally on Team Blake and then stolen by Pharrell after the Battle Rounds, Frazier’s standout performance of “Even If It Breaks Your Heart” led her back to coach Blake Shelton’s team.
With the help of Shelton and Pharrell, Frazier has gained a new sense of confidence going into the Live Playoffs, and hopefully she will continue the momentum that was gained from advancing through the Knockouts.
“(‘Even If It Breaks Your Heart’) was a song that really had me emotional,” said Frazier. “Because I’ve been in the music business for 10 years now and I was on a label. I felt like I was not anyone’s main goal over there, so my confidence level was definitely low going into this competition and to have Pharrell and Rihanna (say) ‘ I don’t think you know how good you are’ just really (helped) me going into that Knockout round.”
