A Terminal Johnny Depp Is Living His Best Life In ‘The Professor’ Trailer

In The Professor, Johnny Depp stars as a college lecturer named Richard who learns he has six months to live. With time literally of the essence, Richard boldly attempts to live his best life.

With Richard understandably doing whatever he pleases and being as frank as can be, it’s easy to see how his actions may rile others. His wife (Rosemarie DeWitt) and the school chancellor (Ron Livingston) may have their objections, but I’m guessing his students don’t mind smoking weed while learning from their professor. Zoey Deutch and Danny Huston round out the ensemble.

The feature is written and directed by Wayne Roberts, who helmed the 2016 Olivia Cooke headlined film Katie Says Goodbye. Check out the trailer and tell us what you think!

The Professor will be exclusively available on DIRECTV starting April 18. Its hits theaters and On Demand May 17.
