Brendan McDonough (Miles Teller), Chris MacKenzie (Taylor Kitsch), plan to do the backburn at the Chiricahua Mtn. fireline in Columbia Pictures’ ONLY THE BRAVE, THE TRUE STORY OF THE GRANITE MOUNTAIN HOTSHOTS.

Only The Brave centers on the Granite Mountain Hotshots, an elite unit of firefighters who battled a devastating wildfire in Yarnell, Arizona. Dierks Bentley organized a benefit concert in 2013 which raised over $476,000 for the families of the 19 firefighters who lost their lives in the incident.

“I think the idea of ‘Hold The Light’ – what I love about it is it’s not immediately apparent,” said Bentley, who’s an Arizona native. “When you see the movie and you hear the song – there’s so much darkness in this kind of loss. Nineteen people in a community like this . . . but the positivity of this movie – this movie is so inspiring in a way. And I think it is the idea of the hope of (holding) the light – (to) find what’s positive. Find that hope and use that for strength to get through your own personal battle.”
