Trinity made it through the Blinds with a four-chair turn on The Voice, and she picked Michael Bublé as her coach. Although she lost her Battle to Jazz McKenzie during their stellar work on “Virtual Insanity,” she was saved by Bublé. She takes on Jack Austin tonight on the Knockouts! Check out our interview with Trinity who reflects on the first two rounds of The Voice and she also gives us a deeper dive into her artistry.

After delivering a stellar rendition of En Vogue’s “Don’t Let Go,” Trinity was on her way with Michael Bublé as her coach. The big surprise is that the 25-year-old singer admitted it was not her #1 track of choice. “I would never think that song is perfect for me,” said Trinity. “I made sure I was giving my all for that song – it worked out perfectly. (Picking a song) is a collaborative effort between the show and the artst. So while I do enjoy the song, I’ve never actually sang it before the audition.”

Trinity also has nothing but praise for The Voice, since the show helped hone her artistry. “I feel like it allowed me to apply everything,” she added, citing her work with Jazz McKenzie on ‘Virtual Insanity.’ “(It) was like learning in school. Funny enough, people think ‘Oh you’re not gonna need that.’ I actually needed all of this. When you work with people that are different than you – it forces you to find pockets where you guys are both complementing each other. I really enjoyed having to be creative and think outside the box when it came to how we can make our performance memorable.”
