“I came to find myself as well, out in the American West,” said actor Myles Clohessy. Clohessy was referring to Dances With Wolves, and his love for the Western genre lends itself to an inspired performance in Frontier Crucible. Co-starring William H. Macy, Armie Hammer and Thomas Jane, Frontier Crucible hits theaters, Digital and On Demand December 5. Clohessy talked to Deepest Dream about his experience on set and elaborates what makes this a special film.

“What’s so special about (Frontier Crucible) is it is a singular Western,” said Myles Clohessy. “They have this score that underscores the whole film. It could be a silent film and you could just have that score over it and it would tell the story.”

“I think what makes it even more special is the script,” added Clohessy. “It’s based off this Harry Whittington novel Desert Stake-Out novel from 1961 and it plays out more like a play. It’s almost as if you’re listening to an audible story kind of play out, and I think that makes it really unique.”
