Written and directed by Aziz Ansari, Good Fortune stars Keanu Reeves as Gabriel, a guardian angel who helps switch the lives of a gig worker (Aziz Ansari) and a super rich venture capitalist (Seth Rogen). Good Fortune marks Aziz Ansari’s feature directing debut, and he also produced the movie. The movie, along with containing Ansari’s trademark dry humor, seems to have It’s A Wonderful Life vibes. As a Frank Capra fan, I am not complaining! The movie won me over with the “Wait, you’re telling me I have a budget guardian angel” line and the Gabriel little wings joke.
