Emily Blunt and Dwayne Johnson team up for Disney’s Jungle Cruise, an Amazon set tale that follows the adventures of sarcastic skipper Frank Wolff (Dwayne Johnson) and researcher Dr. Lily Houghton (Emily Blunt). Pictures from the film and the trailer are below!
Dr. Lily Houghton (Emily Blunt) ventures from London to the Amazon jungle where she hires skipper Frank Wolff (Dwayne Johnson) to travel downriver on La Quila with his seemingly less than sturdy boat. Lily is looking for an ancient tree with healing abilities, and her quest leads to an encounter with supernatural forces that may place humankind’s future in danger!
Jungle Cruise is director Jaume Collet-Serra’s (Non-Stop, The Commuter) biggest budget film to date, and since I’m a fan of all of his films (especially Orphan), I’m definitely putting this on my must see list for the summer. Rounding out the ensemble are Jesse Plemons, Jack Whitehall, Edgar Ramirez and Paul Giamatti.
Jungle Cruise hits theaters July 24, 2020. Check out the trailer and tell us what you think!
