Don Henley Travels To “Cass County” With New Album

As a lifelong fan of the Eagles and its members’ respective solo ventures, it’s great to know that Don Henley’s fifth studio album Cass County is set for a September 25 release via Capitol Records. The album, named for the Texas county where Henley grew up, will be available as a 12-song CD and digital album, a 16-track deluxe version, and a double disc, 180 gram Vinyl LP.

“I was born and raised in Texas. I’m a Southerner and a Texan. So this is a natural progression for me. It’s who I am and where I come from,” says Henley about the album, which he recorded in Dallas and Nashville. This is Henley’s first solo album in 15 years.
A super deluxe version will be available via Henley’s official online store, and it comes with a 50 page booklet with exclusive photos, collector postcards, deluxe CD album, and deluxe Vinyl. A limited number of bundles are also being offered which includes a T-shirt and 12X12 lithograph.
