Ashley Johnson (Much Ado About Nothing, The Avengers) stars in the new series Blindspot as Patterson, a member of an FBI unit that is trying to figure out why a mysterious (and naked) woman (Jaimie Alexander) appeared in Times Square sans her memory. Though many employees may be unnerved by the discovery, Patterson is eager to unravel the clues that will help the woman remember her true identity.
Jack Coleman Talks ‘Heroes Reborn’ & Continued Popularity
It’s been five years since the end of Heroes, but the 13-episode event series Heroes Reborn is proof that the universe is still alive and kicking. Creator/executive producer Tim Kring still has a ton of story left to tell, and coming back to the fold is Jack Coleman, who played morally conflicted agent Noah Bennet in the original.
Josh Altman Talks “It’s Your Move” & 24/7 Work Ethic
Though Josh Altman may be known as a TV celebrity thanks to Bravo’s Million Dollar Listing Los Angeles, his main passion is real estate (He’s ranked #18 in the U.S. by The Wall Street Journal thanks to accrued sales of close to a billion and a half dollars). During our interview with Altman, he talked about the keys to success and also discussed his upcoming book”It’s Your Move: My Million Dollar Method for Taking Risks with Confidence and Succeeding at Work and Life.”
Judith Hill Album “Back In Time” Set For October Release
Judith Hill’s debut album Back In Time comes out via NPG Records on October 23. Hill co-produced the album with Prince at his famed Paisley Park Studios in Minneapolis, and she also opened for his tour earlier this spring.
Hill was previously profiled in the Grammy and Oscar winning documentary 20 Feet From Stardom and she also had a celebrated run on the hit NBC show The Voice (I interviewed Hill back in 2013, and my Q&A with the talented songstress is found here). Before those accomplishments, the singer also worked with Michael Jackson and Stevie Wonder, and she’s also the writer/performer behind the underrated (and soulful) soundtrack to the Spike Lee film Red Hook Summer. Below is a stripped down, piano driven version of one of the movie’s tunes, “Beautiful Life.”
Back In Time’s full track listing is as follows: “As Trains Go By,” “Turn Up,” “Angel in the Dark,” “Beautiful Life,” “Cure,” “Love Trip,” “My People,” “Wild Tonight,” “Cry Cry Cry,” and “Jammin’ in the Basement.”
In the video featurette below, snippets of “Turn Up” and “Cry, Cry, Cry” are performed, as Hill visits Paisley Park:
