Directed and co-written by Mark O’Connor, “Amongst The Wolves” is a gripping, Dublin set crime thriller that is now out in U.S. theaters and available on VOD. Obviously this is the weekend of “Superman,” but hopefully this movie won’t go too far under the radar. CinemAddicts co-host Eric Holmes and I discuss what makes “Amongst The Wolves” a standout feature.

The narrative centers on Danny (Luke McQuillan, who co-wrote with Mark O’Connor), a homeless ex-soldier who befriends Will (Daniel Fee), a troubled teen who is in trouble with a gangster named Power (Aidan Gillen).

Will is in debt to Power, and he must do low level jobs to repay his boss. Danny understands that Power’s stranglehold on Will may permanently harm the youth, and he sets out to help his friend.

Eric and I gave “Amongst The Wolves” ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️½ thanks to the overall storytelling and performances. If you are looking for a first rate drama and a riveting crime thriller, “Amongst The Wolves” might be the film for you. Check out our review via podcast or YouTube below!
