As a fan of Claudia Sulewski’s YouTube Channel, I was looking forward to the I Love My Dad interview. That excitement increased since the movie, is a good one (I gave it ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ on the Find Your Film podcast). I Love My Dad director/writer/actor James Morosini is also a talent, so check out this quick interview for some pretty interesting artistic insights!

Directed, penned, and starring James Morosini, I Love My Dad is based on the filmmaker’s own experiences with catfishing thanks to his dad.

Franklin (Morosini) has been manipulated by his father (Patton Oswalt) for all of his life, and so it is understandable that he has cut off his dad from his life. But this parent (he’s named Chuck) won’t give up, and he decides to create a fake online profile of a kind waitress (Claudia Sulewski).

On the positive side, Franklin’s mental health improves with this newfound girlfriend whom he has yet to meet and he has also given Chuck another opportunity. Of course the house of cards is bound to fall if he ever meets this woman in real life . . .

I Love My Dad is now playing in theaters and hits On Demand August 12 via Magnolia Pictures.

Find Your Film co-host Eric Holmes also praised the feature (⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️). Bruce Purkey was the only one from our trio who does not recommend the flick, as he gave it two stars. Check out our review below:
