The Real Housewives of Rhode Island episode 11 may not have had the huge confrontations from the previous installment, but “Stay Calm and Carry On” still packed a punch. The episode’s title probably refers to the apologies and seemingly calm demeanor of the Housewives during Rulla and Brian’s Arabian Nights party. But lo and behold, here comes Rosie to the rescue to stir things up!! Share your thoughts on the show below and I have a few thoughts as well!

What Was Rosie Woods Thinking?
The ever widending rift between Rosie Woods and Kelsey Swanson was temporarily stopped thanks to them (as the title suggests) staying calm and carrying on. It helped that Rosie’s hubby Rich and Kelsey’s boyfriend Bill teamed up to broker this uneasy peace between the two Housewives. Kelsey and Rosie half-heartedly apologized to each other, and that at least smoothed things over for the Arabian Nights shindig.
Instead of having a chill night, Rosie decided to ask Rulla Ponterelli about a video which allegedy dealt with Brian’s infidelity. Rosie revealed that she and the other women had knowledge of the video since their Seaview Terrace excusion. Although Rulla did not get mad at Rosie and believes that she meant well, one has to wonder if Rosie’s reveal was poorly timed.
It made for great reality series drama, but it obviously put a damper on Rulla and Brian’s party spirits. In my opinion, they deserved one night of fun sans marital strife – especially since they threw the party! Since Alicia had her chance to tell Rulla the news way before the party, will Rulla hold that against Alicia?

Are Liz And Alicia Back To Being OG Friends?
Liz admitted that if she could take back her comments regarding Alicia’s “homeless” experiences, she would. Since they go way back and know each other’s families, their friendship runs deep. Although they both apologized to each other, Alicia commented (off-screen) that she forgives but will not forget. Meanwhile, Liz claims she is not heartless and didn’t mean to hurt Alicia.
Earlier in the episode, she and Dolores hung out with RI Senator Lori Urso and RI State Representative Karen Alzate to talk about being the first state to enact “workplace protections for women experiencing menopause.” That meeting also was to spotlight Dolores and Liz’s venture into a menopause gummy brand.
Later in the episode Liz and Kelsey go clamming at the beach. If I recall, no clams were caught but Kelsey suggested a Block Island get together where the Housewives can meet up and hash things out. It’s an end of the summer get together that will wrap RHORI’s first season, and expect the “stay calm and carry on” attitude to be thrown out for the season finale!
If Liz and Alicia assumedly continue for the second season, their friendship should have their highs and lows. But the bottom line is they are tied to Rhode Island and their shared history shouldn’t break their bond.
Trauma Bonding At Arabian Nights!
Although Jo-Ellen was understandably not invited to Arabian Nights, one must assume she was there in spirit when Alicia toasted to “Bitches love summer.” Alicia said she loved all the girls, accurately adding that it’s “a trauma bond.”
There may have been a couple of apologized on episode 11, but that may be thrown out the window when Block Island comes around. Will Jo-Ellen finally make get through to Liz? Are we expecting another tense altercation between Rosie and Kelsey? Will Audrey’s Coffee House & Lounge renew their lease?
