‘Spider-Man: Far From Home’ Teaser Gets Furious Welcome From Mysterio

Spider-Man: Far From Home’s teaser trailer has just been released. Thanks to the overwhelming success of Spider-Man: Homecoming and more recently Spider-Man: Into The Spider-Verse, expectations are high, so hopefully this clip (and more importantly the actual movie) is on point!!

Spider-Man: Far From Home features Peter Parker (Tom Holland) leaving his suit in Queens as he and his high school crew, including MJ (Zendaya) and Ned (Jacob Batalon), go on a European vacation. Aside from the gross out of having Happy Hogan (Jon Favreau) flirt with Aunt May (Marisa Tomei), Parker has to deal with a surprise introduction from Nick Fury (Samuel L. Jackson) and Mysterio (Jake Gyllenhaal, sans the globe ball Mysterio calls for a head).

Will the friendly neighborhood webslinger save the day and vanquish his latest villain? Check out the teaser trailer which currently has my favorite movie line of 2019 (“I think Nick Fury just hijacked our summer vacation”) and tell us what you think (props for the use of The Ramones’ “I Wanna Be Sedated” in the clip)!

Spider-Man: Far From Home hits theaters July 5.
