Smile, a horror film starring Sosie Bacon, Jessie T. Usher, and Kyle Gallner, will serve as the opening night movie at Fantastic Fest 2022. Written and directed by Parker Finn, Smile hits theaters September 30.
Dr. Rose Cotter (Sosie Bacon) is experencing frightening events after witnessing a bizarre and traumatic incident which involved a patient. With the terror taking over her life, Rose attempts to confront her troubled past and overcome her new reality. Rounding out the ensemble cast include Robin Weigert (Deadwood), Caitlin Stasey (Bridge and Tunnel), Kal Penn (Superman Returns), and Rob Morgan (Bull, Stranger Things).
