It didn’t take long for Hailey Glassman to make an impression on The Real Housewives of New York City. For Deepest Dream Podcast co-host Deandra Miranda, Glassman is one of the reasons this RHONY season has a different vibe. “I think that Hailey is a breath of fresh air,” Miranda said. “I think she’s funny and quirky. She doesn’t seem like she’s trying for TV.”

“She is authentically her,” Miranda said of Glassman.
Miranda also believes Glassman’s candid and open demeanor may stem partly from having already experienced tabloid attention. That history, in her estimation, has given the RHONY newcomer a thicker skin and seemingly less reason to manufacture a reality television persona.
Glassman’s description of Erin Lichy as “strawberry jam” was one of my favorite lines from Episode 2. Glassman followed that observation by joking that she would rather read a book than hang out with Erin — and then took the joke one step further by saying she’d rather read Carole Radziwill’s book What Remains: A Memoir of Fate, Friendship, and Love.
“She’s very open and honest,” Miranda said. “She’s obviously been through public scrutiny where she has some thick, tougher skin.”
That quality could heighten as the season progresses. RHONY doesn’t need Glassman to create conflict when her humor and eccentric personality naturally stand out. Whether she’s blading down a crowded New York street or casually admitting how stoned she was during an earlier get together, Glassman is really one of a kind.
