“Sharknado 3: Oh Hell No!” features the continuing adventures of Fin (Ian Ziering) as he, along with April (Tara Reid) and Nova (Cassie Scerbo) test their mettle against flying sharks from Washington D.C. to Orlando, Florida. Muniz is on board as Nova’s friend, a mechanic named Lucas Stevens, with Ne-Yo, Ferrigno, and Imahara starring as Secret Service agents.
Penn Jillette and Teller are NASA Lieutenant Colonel Stylo and Major Caissier, with Collins, Keselowski, and Logano appearing as themselves.
During a NBC/Universal press day held earlier this year, Ian Ziering (who was promoting “The Celebrity Apprentice”) talked about how the Sharknado franchise has positively impacted his career:
“Certainly work begets work, and this is no different. And so being that it has brought me from the back burner to the front burner, so to speak, this higher visibility (and) marketability lends itself to me getting more jobs. The phone’s ringing a little more. I wake up and count my blessings every morning.”
Sharknado 3: Oh Hell No! premieres Wednesday, July 22 (9 pm et/pt) on SyFy.
