Our Brand Is Crisis, starring Sandra Bullock and Billy Bob Thornton, hits Blu-ray February 2 and Digital HD January 19 via Warner Bros. Entertainment.
Directed by David Gordon Green (Manglehorn, Joe) and inspired by the 2005 documentary of the same name, Our Brand Is Crisis centers Jane Bodine (Sandra Bullock), a political strategist who comes out of semi-retirement to help the president of Bolivia (Joaquim de Almeida) get re-elected. Billy Bob Thornton is Pat Candy, another strategist and rival of Bodine’s who is working for the more popular politician. Anthony Mackie, Scoot McNairy, Ann Dowd, Zoe Kazan and Octavio Gomez Berrios co-star as members of Bodine’s campaign team.
Special features on the Blu-ray include the featurette “Sandra Bullock: A Role Like No Other.”
