“I just love the combination of horror and adventure,” said Jake Manley. “It was something refreshing that I hadn’t seen done in the horror genre. I love ensemble movies with a big cast and an eclectic group of people. I thought it would be a fun story to explore. And I was right.”

Francesca Reale added that shooting in Bulgaria was “a dream.” “We had a great time,” said Reale. “We had such an incredible cast of people and we got to bond so quickly and create a nice family dynamic. When we weren’t actively on set acting scared, we were always trying to at least laugh and joke around and keep each other awake. Eighty percent of the film was shot on night shoots, so we wanted to make sure we were all still alive and well.”
Manley also loved the collaborative spirit on the film, and he said that it is something that doesn’t happen on all sets. “When we got to Bulgaria, we sat down, read it, and everyone gave their thoughts,” added Manley. “We made adjustments to make the script stronger. I love doing that with all the other actors and I wish that was like more of a standard on some projects – that was really cool.”
Directed by Marc Klasfeld, Do Not Enter hits theaters, Digital and On Demand March 20.
