‘Glen Campbell…I’ll Be Me’ Hits DVD & VOD In September

Glen Campbell…I’ll Be Me, directed by James Keach (director of the underrated romantic comedy Waiting for Forever), hits VOD and DVD September 1st via Virgil Films.

The project spotlights Campbell’s 2011 tour across America. Initially scheduled for five weeks, the tour featured over 151 sold out shows throughout its year and a half run. Campbell had been recently diagnosed with Alzheimer’s Disease, and the movie chronicles the musician and his family’s journey throughout his tour and battle with the disease. Paul McCartney, Blake Shelton, Keith Urban, Brad Paisley, Taylor Swift, and Bruce Springsteen are among the artists who appear in the doc.

“The legacy Glen Campbell and his incredibly courageous family share in this film is one of the most important movies I have been blessed to have worked on,” said Keach. Glen Campbell…I’ll Be Me will forever inspire me as a filmmaker and a man. Glen is a real life hero on and off the stage.”
