Fool’s Paradise, a showbiz satire starring and directed by Charlie Day, hits premium video and premium Video on Demand June 2. The feature co-stars Ken Jeong, Kate Beckinsale, and Adrien Brody.
Fool’s Paradise centers on Latte Pronto (Charlie Day), a person who has just been released from a mental health facility and is left to his own devices. Since this is Los Angeles, someone can actually become an overnight movie star. Ken Jeong is Lenny, a desperate publicist who latches on to Latte (he actually gave him the fake name “Latte Pronto”) in hopes of hitting the bigtime.
Ray Liotta co-stars as an intimidating movie producer, and Adrien Brody and Kate Beckinsale play some of Tineseltown’s hottest actors. Day also has a secondary role as the A-list actor who gets replaced by Latte Pronto due to an unforeseen tragedy.
