Tony, Oscar, and Golden Globe Awards winner Joel Grey (Cabaret, Anything Goes) will be honored with the Lifetime Achievement Award at the 2022 Chita Rivera Awards. The event takes place at NYU Skirball Center for the Performing Arts.
Hollywood Stargirl, the sequel to the 2020 feature Stargirl, hits Disney+ on June 3. This time out, Stargirl Caraway (Grace VanderWaal) heads out to Los Angeles afer her mom Ana (Judy Greer) lands a costume designer job on a movie.

Now playing in theaters, Firebird is the true story of Sergey (Tom Prior), a young soldier who falls in love with a fighter pilot named Roman (Oleg Zagorodnii). Set in occupied Estonia during the late 1970s, the ambitious narrative boasts inspired work from Prior, Zagorodnii and Diana Pozharskaya. Prior, who also co-wrote and produced the Peeter Rebane feature, talked to Deepest Dream about his Firebird journey.
Martin Shore received his share of critical acclaim for the 2014 documentary Take Me To The River. With Take Me To The River: New Orleans, Shore takes an ambitious and resonant look at the music that lives and breathes in New Orleans. Featuring a diverse array of artists (George Porter Jr., Snoop Dogg, Irma Thomas, Ledisi), the documentary hits New York and Los Angeles on April 29. Check out our Q&A with Shore below!

Director Riley Stearns’ uncompromising and pinpoint narrative The Art of Self-Defense grabbed my attention in a good way, and his latest feature Dual is just as powerful. Karen Gillan is Sarah, a woman who requests to be cloned after receiving a terminal diagnosis.
