“I was born and raised in Guadalajara, the land of the mariachi and the tequila,” said Aziz Guerra, who is currently attending Berklee College of Music. “I grew up in that culture. When I was a kid, I remember going to parties to my grandma’s party, to my auntie’s party, and they would be playing mariachi.”
Listen to Guerra’s “Narcisista,” a new song that he co-wrote with his mother.
As for his time on The Voice: Battle of Champions, Guerra looks at that experience in a highly positive light. “It just gave me more confidence in myself and what I can do” said Guerra. “Given the preparation and the time that we got, I had this different perspective of what I can do in that moment.”

Catch Aziz Guerra tonight on The Voice: Battle of Champions (9/8c). The episode streams the next day on Peacock.
