Eureka Entertainment announced that ADVENTURE CALLS! Karl May at CCC, a Blu-ray collection that is limited to just 2,000 copies, streets in North America April 28, 2026. Seven movies adapted from May’s classic novels are featured in the four-disc set. More details are featured in our post!

Presented as part of The Masters of Cinema Series, the collection includes a Limited hardbound slipcase and a 60-page collector’s book.
Acclaimed film noir director Robert Siodmak (The Killers) directed The Pyramid of The Sun God and The Treasure of the Aztecs and those are the movies I would gravitate to if I had the collection. I grew up watching Lex Barker Tarzan films, and I had no idea about these Karl May adventure flicks. Other filmmakers who directed these German adventure films include Hugo Fregonese, Franz Josef Gottlieb and Harald Reinl.
