Actor Lucas Jade Zumann and director Julia Verdin talked to Deepest Dream about “No Address,” a movie that centers on a group of individuals who are experiencing homelessness. Verdin describes her work as “social impact” filmmaking, and the movie is now out in theaters. The ensemble includes Kristanna Loken, Patricia Velasquez, Ashanti, Ty Pennington, Beverly D’Angelo, William Baldwin and Isabella Ferreira (she and Zumann are the feature’s main characters). Inspired by true events, “No Address” is director Julia Verdin’s companion piece to her 2024 documentary “Americans With No Address.” “Seeing the documentary being made alongside this film headed by Julia,” said Lucas Jade Zumann. “I really do feel like there was an approach to the realism that was necessary when tackling this.”
