We already knew that Vin Diesel was “fast and furious,” but can he stand his ground amidst a coven of witches? In The Last Witch Hunter, Vin Diesel is Kaulder, a warrior who seeks revenge against the Queen Witch, an evil force who has returned to wreak havoc on Earth. Co-starring Elijah Wood, Michael Caine and Rose Leslie, the film’s latest trailer, titled “Live Forever,” was recently released.

The “Live Forever” trailer gives the origins of Kaulder, a once happy family man who was cursed with immortality by the Queen Witch. With the aid of a determined priest (Wood) and a dream walker (Leslie), Kaulder hunts down evil forces of all shapes and sizes.
The trailer, filled with intimidating creatures, eye catching special effects and excellent Vin Diesel one-liners (“Do you know what I’m afraid of? Nothing.”), The Last Witch Hunter is escapist fare that should be fun to watch. We’ll know if this is another Diesel hit when the movie hits theaters October 23 via Lionsgate. Breck Eisner, whose previous credits include The Crazies and Sahara, directs.
