‘Requiem For A Dream’ Director’s Cut Hits 4K Ultra HD In October

In celebration of its 20th anniversary, Requiem for a Dream Director’s Cut comes out on 4K Ultra HD Combo Pack (plus Blu-ray and Digital) on October 13. The Lionsgate release, remastered for the first time in Dolby Vision and Dolby Atmos, will also feature four brand new featurettes.

Directed by Darren Aronofsky (Black Swan, Noah), the feature is based on Hubert Selby Jr.’s novel about four people whose lives fall apart due to drug addiction. The feature stars Ellen Burstyn (who received an Oscar nod for her work), Jennifer Connelly, Jared Leto, and Marlon Wayans.

The 4K Ultra HD scan was supervised by Requiem for a Dream cinematographer Matthew Libatique (he has also lensed the Aronofsky films Noah, Black Swan, Mother! and The Fountain). Special features include:
