Milo Ventimiglia On Lasting Bond With Sylvester Stallone

Season two of This Is Us is just around the corner, and one of the many things to look forward to is the appearance of Sylvester Stallone. During our interview with Milo Ventimiglia, the Emmy nominated actor talked about getting the chance to work once again with his Rocky Balboa co-star. Check out our video below!

“Having (Sylvester Stallone) come on board, in a strange way, is even more exciting than an Emmy nomination,” said Milo Ventimiglia. “It means that the bond that you make on a film set is strong enough to last for years.”

In the video Ventimiglia discusses how even though it’s been 13 years, the bond he has with Sylvester Stallone continues to this day. It’s a mentorship role that Ventimiglia obviously appreciates, as he’s “grateful” that Stallone is now a part of the This Is Us universe. Another reason to check out the vid is that Ventimiglia does a pretty spot-on impression of Stallone:

The second season of This Is Us premieres September 26 on NBC (9 pm et/pt).
