Hitting VOD and Digital on February 10, Bight is an erotic thriller that features a layered narrative. Directed and co-starring Maiara Walsh, the story centers on Atticus (Cameron Cowperthwaite), a struggling artist whose marriage to his wife Charlie (Walsh) is on shaky ground. During an evening with their close friends Sebastian (Mark Hapka) and Naomi (Maya Stojan), boundaries between these two couples are pushed to its limit. Dark secrets and sexual tensions rise to the surface, leading to a possible traumatic experience. Hapka, who also produced and co-edited the film, talked about the creatively challenging and gratifying journey of Bight.

Mark Hapka, an experienced actor and producer, discussed his top priority in making Bight.
“My job on set was make sure this movie, from start to finish, gets made,” said Hapka. “So just making sure that everything that we set out to do gets accomplished to its best potential and reaches the finish line, which it now has.”
“It’s a huge feat to create a feature film and actually have it reach the finish line,” added Hapka, who also edited the movie with Cowperthwaite. “Definitely a small percentage of movies actually make it to distribution and get released to the world. And then on top of it, you hope that your movie’s actually decent as well by the end.”
