As reported by Entertainment Weekly, John Krasinski will serve as the narrator for Disneynature’s upcoming feature Born in China. Krasinski was seen this year in The Hollars (which he also directed) and the military drama 13 Hours.
Taking part in Born in China was a special experience for the actor. “I’ve been a huge fan of the Disneynature films for a really long time,” said Krasinski. “I think I’ve seen them all a couple times and to be asked to be a part of something that I feel is not only so beautiful and such great storytelling, but is so important, I was honored to be a part of it. To find this unbelievable landscape that was far beyond the cities and the bustling crowds of the China that I thought I knew was just fascinating.”
Born in China centers on the adventures of a panda bear mother who looks over her growing baby, a two year old golden monkey who feels like an outsider, and a snow leopard who’s trying to raise her cubs in an unforgiving climate.
The picture is set for release Earth Day 2017. Check out the trailer below and tell us what you think!!
