Here’s Jennifer Lopez’s thoughts on the final season of American Idol:

“I love that I got to be part of this legacy of American Idol. I’ve done it 5 years (and) I only planned to do it one year – one season. And I just loved it so much. It’s what everybody loves about it. It’s about dreams. It’s about America. It’s about everything that America is about. There were so many amazing moments that everyone shared through this show. So many families that it brought together because there’s not a ton of shows that families can watch together in that way. And I just remember people coming up to me ever since I’ve been part of the show thanking me, asking me (questions), being interested. It was just an amazing thing that happened to America for 15 years and I’m sad to see it go.”
