Maisie Richardson-Sellers (DC’s Legends of Tomorrow) stars in Jagged Mind as a woman plagued with blackouts. This puts a strain on her relationship with her new girlfriend (Shannon Woodward). This psychological thriller hits Hulu on June 15, and I am definitely putting this movie on my radar.
Though the Jagged Mind trailer shows that Maisie Richardson-Sellers and Shannon Woodward have chemistry, this movie is not a love story. Billie (Richardson-Sellers) is suffering from blackouts, and maybe her lover Alex (Woodward) is responsible for her condition. Billie is stuck in a series of time loops and feels that she is living parts of her life over and over again.
Kelley Kali directs Jagged Mind, which will have its world premiere June 14 at the American Black Film Festival.
Jagged Mind hits Hulu on June 15. I will be posting my review early next week.
