Cold War Kids Release “Five Quick Cuts” For Record Store Day

In celebration of Record Store Day on April 18, Cold War Kids is releasing the limited edition vinyl Cold War Kids Five Quick Cuts which contains unreleased bonus tracks and a newly arranged instrumental arranged instrumental track for “Portugeuse Bend.”

The track listing is as follows: “Stop/Rewind,” “Amazing,” “One Song At A Time,” “Portuguese Bend,” and “Thunderhearts.”

The band have also announced new tour dates in support of their latest album “Hold My Home.” Stops include a March 24 performance in Aspen, CO (Belly Up), an April 17-19 engagement at the Sweetwater 420 Festival (Atlanta, GA), a trek through Tampa, FL (Big Guava Festival), and a beach performance at the Hangout Music Festival (Gulf Shores, AL, May 15-17).

“Hold My Home’s” single “First” has taken in over 5.5 million Spotify streams and over 2.2 million plays on Soundcloud. Movie fans will probably recognize “First” as the song that plays in the trailer for “Aloha,” the upcoming movie which stars Bradley Cooper, Emma Stone, Bill Murray, and Rachel McAdams.
