Anderson Cowan and I are back for another episode of CinemAddicts and there are a couple of questions that we try to answer. Is Downhill, a remake of Force Majeure, any good? What about Birds of Prey or Elijah Wood’s latest film (Come To Daddy)?

Four and half years into our podcast and I still haven’t done a comprehensive show breakdown until now. After listening the episode, I was amazed (but probably not surprised) at how much Anderson and I f**king name drop actors and directors all over the place. This probably sounds like horrible humble bragging, but honestly this is how Anderson and I talked about movies during our days together at Westwood One (while he was engineering Loveline and I was the producer of a syndicated show called E! Entertainment Radio). There I go name dropping again!
A couple of takeaways from this episode if you want the short of it: I really enjoyed the Will Ferrell/Julia Louis-Dreyfus flick Downhill even though it is getting mixed reviews and I also highly recommend Elijah Wood’s latest movie Come to Daddy. Last but not least, Billy Crystal delivers one of his finest performances in the dramedy Standing Up, Falling Down.
Anderson’s movie picks are The Gentlemen, Color Out Of Space, and I Lost My Body.
