Jill Flint & Eoin Macken Develop Acting Bond On “The Night Shift”
The second season of NBC’s The Night Shift begins tonight (10 pm et/pt), as life at San Antonio Memorial, as the cliche goes, will never be the same. While the good news is Topher (Ken Leung) survived the shooting, Jordan (Jill Flint) took some heat while begrudgingly treating a criminal and TC (Eoin Macken) suffered an emotional breakdown while reflecting on a past military tragedy.
VIDEO: “One Big Happy” Stars Develop “Fear Bond” With Live Tapings
Premiering March 17 on NBC, One Big Happy centers on Lizzy (Happy Endings alum Elisha Cuthbert) and Luke (Nick Zano), lifelong best friends who decide to raise a family. Lizzy’s a lesbian and Luke seems like the eternal bachelor – until he gets married to a British girl named Prudence (Kelly Brook). Ellen DeGeneres is an executive producer of the freshman show.
Having strong and wonderful women in his life should be an embarrassment of riches for Luke, but this unconventional family dynamic does have its share of issues (hence the comedy).
During our interview with the actors, Zano talked about the “fear bond” he has with Cuthbert and Brook during their tape nights of One Big Happy (Cuthbert humorously describes it as a “terror bond”).
