The 1997 feature Bent, featuring Clive Owen, Mick Jagger, and Ian McKellen, hits Blu-ray and DVD on January 8. The feature, which is based on Martin Sherman’s award winning play, has been digitally restored.

The Guiltywas one of this year’s top films, and it’s Denmark’s official entry at this year’s Oscars. As I predicted on CinemAddicts, the film is going to be remade into an American film (much sooner than I imagined). Jake Gyllenhaal will headlined the feature, and more details on both picture are below!

Movie fans are abuzz with the debut trailer for Avengers: Endgame, and though it’s great to see several of “Earth’s Mightiest Heroes” attempt to save our world, a little bit of reflection is also welcome. Scarlett Johansson, prominently featured in the aforementioned trailer as Black Widow, was on hand December 8 to host a screening and reception of Black Panther.

The element of surprise, especially if it’s a great one, is something that should always be welcome in cinema. Case in point is Alex Pettyfer (I Am Number Four, Magic Mike) an actor who had a straight shot to the Hollywood A-list before taking a several year detour. That change of direction lead him to Back Roads and, if anything, we’re the beneficiaries of an inspired and immersive narrative.
