Barry Pepper has amassed his share of well received films over the years (Saving Private Ryan, True Grit, Flags of Our Fathers). This time out he plays a getwaway driver who must return a passenger (Jamie Costa) to a cutthroat crime boss (Rachel Griffiths) in Bring Him To Me. The movie, which is now in theaters and available On Demand, is absolutely terrific. Pepper talked to Deepest Dream about the movie and why, even with his share of leading roles, he considers himself a character actor.
Although Bring Him To Me has its share of action sequences, a hefty portion of the narrative centers on the relationship between the Driver (Barry Pepper) and Passenger (Jamie Costa). Though the Passenger’s life may be in peril once he gets to his destination, the Driver may have the power to change his fate. Both Eric Holmes, whose full interview with Pepper is below, and I recommend the movie. Check out our review on CinemAddicts:

Thank you for reading this post, don't forget to subscribe!“I’ve always been drawn to character actor roles,” said Pepper. “I consider myself a charactor actor and there’s no rhyme or reason to (what movie is next). I just receive a script and I try to ask myself if it’s something that will continue to capture my interest a year from now when I have to talk to (the media). But I also try to avoid repeating roles.”
