Anthony Jeselnik On ‘Last Comic Standing’ & Its Wide Reach

It’s hard to think of a comedian these days who has a more original delivery than Anthony Jeselnik (if you know of a few, please tell me!), and this season his profile has reached an even higher level thanks to his hosting duties on Last Comic Standing.

“If there’s anything I could do for you, please let me know – without talking to me,” said Jeselnik to last week’s LCS semifinalists.

Its Jeselnik’s blend of wit and subtle misanthropy which propels his humor to another level (his innate likability is also a huge factor).

In the video below, Anthony Jeselnik explains why he would “recommend every comic” do Last Comic Standing:

The Last Comic Standing semifinals continue tonight on NBC (10/9c). Who’s your favorite comic on the show (mine is Clayton English). Is Jeselnik doing a bang-up job as the LCS host? Feel free to comment below!
