The narrative centers on a grieving father named Leonardo (Nick Giedris) who is still haunted by his daughter’s shooting death. Ben Burton is Gerald, a former school resource officer who feels guilty for not stepping into action during the shooting. A chance meeting between the two leads to a life altering incident.

Directing “Tether’s” story (Anghus Houvouras is the screenwriter) was not a daunting task for Hariharasudhen Nagarajan. “I think as a filmmaker I feel I can handle these kind of heavy subjects. I am used to watching heavy films,” said Nagarajan. “And I’ve always wondered when watching them whatever impact that creates on me, I want the same impact to be created on the audience.”
