‘Eternals’ Trailer: Immortal Heroes Get Epic Treatment From ‘Nomadland’ Director

Marvel Studios has released the teaser trailer for “Eternals,” the highly anticipated new feature from Oscar winning director Chloé Zhao (“Nomadland,” “The Rider”). The narrative centers on a group of aliens who band together to defeat an evil humanoid race known as The Deviants! Check out the trailer and tell us what you think!

As evidenced with “Nomadland” and “The Rider,” Chloé Zhao exquisity craft intimately drawn narratives carved out of reality. Neorealism weaves its way across her stories, and it will be intriguing to see how that aesthetic blends with a comic book based adventure.

The cast includes Gemma Chan as Sersi, Richard Madden as Ikaris, a beefed up Kumail Nanjiani as Kingo, Lauren Ridloff as Makkari, Brian Tyree Henry as the inventor Phastos, Salma Hayek as Ajak, Barry Keoghan as the loner Druig, Kit Harrington as Dane Whitman (aka The Black Knight), and Angelina Jolie as the warrior Thena.

This movie has creative home run written all over it. Are you excited about “Eternals,” or do you think Zhao’s vision will be diluted within this genre. As a lifelong Marvel fan, I am all about “Eternals.”
