Spike Lee Explores Vietnam In Riveting ‘Da 5 Bloods’ Trailer

Spike Lee”s latest feature Da 5 Bloods takes him to Vietnam, and the trailer was just released today. The Chambers Brothers’ classic rock/psychedelic tune “Time Has Come Today” is featured throughout the clip, and that’s one big reason to check out the clip!

Da 5 Bloods centers on the presumable dangerous adventures of African American veterans Paul (Delroy Lindo), Otis (Clarke Peters), Eddie (Norm Lewis), and Melvin (Isiah Whitlock, Jr.). They return to Vietnam to search for the remains of their Squad Leader (Chadwick Boseman) as well as find buried treasure in the jungles. Joining them is Paul’s understandably worried son (Jonathan Majors from The Last Black Man in San Francisco).
