Now playing in theaters, “The Man in the White Van” centers on Annie (Madison Wolfe), a spirited girl who is being stalked by a threatening individual. The movie, rated PG-13 and running 105 minutes, is based on a true story. Director Warren Skeels talked about the “guiding light” behind his feature which he co-wrote with Sharon Y. Cobb.

“The Man in the White Van,” based on the crimes of serial killer Billy Mansfield Jr., is Warrren Skeels’ feature directing debut. The ensemble cast includes Brec Bassinger, Ali Larter, Sean Astin and Skai Jackson.
“Annie Williams, our main character in the film, is based 80% on the dynamics of this one particular survivor,” said Skeels. “The dynamic with her family and all the interactions she had with being followed, stalked and hunted by this predator in the white van. The ending of the story is taken from another victim who was falsely imprisioned and escaped him. We basically took those two victims’ stories and married them into one fictional account of Annie Williams in our film.”
