VIDEO: Rob Brown & Audrey Esparza Talk ‘Blindspot’ Journey

Rob Brown - Audrey Esparza "Blindspot"

The heart of Blindspot’s story centers on Kurt Weller (Sullivan Stapleton) an FBI agent who, along with his team, attempt to uncover the true identity of a naked woman (Jaimie Alexander) who was discovered in New York’s Times Square. Simply known as “Jane Doe” due to her amnesia, her body is covered with tattoos, one of which includes Weller’s name.

Rob Brown and Audrey Esparza play Edgar Ramirez and Tasha Zapata, the agents who are following Kurt Weller’s lead.

The actors talked to actual agents as part of their research. “We were so lucky to be with this creative team because I think they respected us as actors,” says Esparza, “As a group we’re all very curious and it was very important to us to be as respectful and as true to life to these men and women.”
