“Saturday Night Live” vet Kyle Mooney directs Rachel Zegler and Jaeden Martell in the disaster comedy “Y2K.” A24 has released the trailer, and let us know if “Y2K” is on your December watch list!

Y2K – A24

“Y2K” centers on two high school juniors named Eli and Danny (Jaeden Martell, Julian Dennison) who crash a New Years Eve party during the last night of 1999. Eli is crushing on classmate Laura (Rachel Zegler), but unfortunately his dreams of kissing her are sidetracked after he witnesses her smooching someone else.

Love shouldn’t be on the teens’ minds, however, as Y2K has reared its ugly head with a shocking display of violence. The ensemble includes The Kid Laroi, Fred Durst, Tim Heidecker, and Alicia Silverstone. Currently, the feature has a 63% rating on Rotten Tomatoes. Kyle Mooney co-wrote and starred in the underrated 2017 feature “Brigsby Bear,” so I’m definitely on board to watch “Y2K.”

Catch “Y2K” when it hits theaters December 6th!
