Olivia Taylor Dudley & Arjun Gupta Talk Content Creation (“The Magicians”)

Olivia Taylor Dudley and Arjun Gupta are part of the ensemble cast for The Magicians, a Syfy series based on Lev Grossman’s New York Times bestselling fantasy trilogy. Magic being studied and practiced at a secret upstate New York university is an alluring concept, and thus far the show is off to a promising start.

While promoting their show, Olivia Taylor Dudley and Arjun Gupta also talked about the side projects they have outside their current day job. In this day and age, content is king and the actors have found different avenues to express their creativity.

For Gupta, he is a co-founder of the Ammunition Theatre in Los Angeles and is also an avid podcaster as a co-host of American Desis. I’ll be posting up video on Gupta discussing his ventures this week, but for now here’s a video of Taylor Dudley discussing her work as a co-founder of 5 Second Films. The hard working comedy sketch group (putting up entertaining videos on a consistent basis takes dedication) recently released their first feature film (Dude Bro Party Massacre 3) and….well anyways check out the video below to hear Taylor Dudley and Gupta talk about content creation (Gupta mentions his American Desis collaborator Akaash Singh in the vid)

An all new episode of The Magicians airs tonight on Syfy (9/8c).
