John Travolta And Morgan Freeman Flick ‘The Poison Rose’ Hits Blu-Ray In June

It’s amazing to think John Travolta and Morgan Freeman haven’t shared a film together, but that has changed with The Poison Rose. Currently available On Demand, the feature hits Blu-ray, DVD, and Digital June 25 via Lionsgate. Plot and special features details are below!

Brendan Fraser and John Travolta in “The Poison Rose.”

The Poison Rose centers on Carson Philips, a Los Angeles private eye (John Travolta) who is in search of a missing woman. Returning to his hometown of Galveston, Texas, Carson matches wits with a crime boss (Morgan Freeman), an untrustful doctor (Brendan Fraser), his ex-lover (Famke Janssen), and a club singer (The Vampire Diaries’ Kat Graham). Also much too fond of drinking and gambling, Carson must also confront his own haunted past amidst this investigation.

Rounding out the ensemble are Robert Patrick and Ella Bleu Travolta (she previously worked with her dad in 2009’s Old Dogs).

Special features on this disc include audio commentary with director George Gallo and writer/producer Richard Salvatore.
